Any dental emergency such as an injury to the teeth or gums can be considered serious and should not be ignored. Ignoring a dental problem will increase the risk of permanent damage, and the need for more extensive and expensive treatment, later on, may be necessary.

Toothaches: Toothaches could be caused by large cavities, infected tooth, infection of previous root canal treatment, cracked tooth, periodontal gum disease, grinding, etc. Dr. Angela Lai could offer services such as restorations, emergency open and drain therapies, root canal treatments, extractions, crowns, night guards and sometimes gum therapies to eliminate the dental pain.

Chipped or broken Teeth: A chipped tooth has sharp edges and could become quite sensitive to temperature changes or become painful to biting. Make your dental appointment as soon as possible to have your tooth examined. Most of the time the chipped or broken tooth could be restored with a filling or crown.

Lost fillings or crowns: Sometimes lost fillings or a dislodge crown is due to recurrent caries under existing restoration. Make your dental appointment to examine the remaining tooth structure before re-cementing the crown or restoring it with a new filling.
